What is precut ribbon?
We use a 5/8” single face satin precut ribbon that is delivered to you already cut into strips. You will just need to shape/tie the ribbon into a bow. We also cut the ribbon with a pinking cut (saw-tooth cut), which significantly reduces the chances of the ribbon fraying.
What is bowed ribbon?
We use a 5/8” single face satin ribbon that is delivered assembled into a bow. Each bow will have a peel and stick backing or pin applied to the back of the bow, so that you can easily stick or pin your bows to your lapel, party favors, invitations or gift packaging.
Assembled Bow Dimensions:
We use an 8 inch long ribbon and these bows will measure approximately 4” high X 2” wide assembled.
Optional Tape Roll or Pins (For Precut Ribbon Only):
The tape or pins are only needed for precut ribbon as the bows come with one of these options already applied. The tape costs $18.00 per roll and each roll has enough to make 1,350 awareness bows. The pins cost $14.00 per bag and each bag has enough pins to make 100 awareness bows. DO NOT order the tape or pins if you’re ordering the bowed ribbon as bowed ribbon already has pins or tape applied.
Satin Ribbon Theme or Ribbon Color:
The theme or solid ribbon color selected will be printed from edge to edge throughout the entire length of ribbon ordered. Please note that although the front side of the ribbon will be full color the backside of the ribbon will be white.
Left and Right Tails of Bow:
Submitting text is optional
We can print a maximum of 20 characters on the left and right tails of the ribbon, however, you can submit up to 2 lines of text on the left and right tails of the ribbon for a total of 40 characters per side. The first and second lines on each side of the ribbon are optional, you can opt to have no printing at all on the ribbon by just typing UNPRINTED.
Optional Photo Upload:
Click on CHOOSE FILE below to upload your photo. Please note that if your photo is of poor quality on your mobile phone or computer it will also be of poor quality when we print it. On 5/8 inch ribbon we can only print a headshot, so we will crop out any bodies that are shown in the photo.
Photo Placement:
We can print the photograph before the text on the left tail or after the text on the left tail.
